First registered 4th January 1937 incredibly this vehicle is a One family owned motor car. Originally purchased by Mr William McCall born in 1893 in 1937 he had originally returned home one day with a brand new Rolls Royce much to the annoyance of his wife, Gertrude, she demanded that he took it back, as she didn’t like the idea of being driven in a Rolls Royce he promptly did and returned in the ALVIS SPEED 25, Saloon FPE6 she must have liked it as this was to be their only motor car. Testament the ALVIS SPEED 25 FPE6 was owned by Mr McCall until his death 1992 aged 99 the motor car was then passed to his Great Nephew Mr Kenneth Nairn this the first change of owner 10th October 1992 since this date Mr Nairn has cherished the ALVIS and has kept the vehicle in its very original patina yet has taken the ALVIS to Red Triangle who have maintained the service work, there is an extremely extensive service history file with lots of receipts Mot certificates and corresponding letters, truly fascinating.

Recently displayed on the ALVIS Owners Club Stand at the Birmingham Classic Car Show this beautiful time warp was cherry picked by Classic Car Weekly and they featured this vehicle as the car they most wanted to take home listing it as 2nd place of all the vehicles in the entire show. Classic Car Weekly will also be featuring this remarkable motor car in the Christmas Edition.
